Getting there
We are happy to help pick you up from the airport, but you will need to let us know your travel information by August 19th so that we can coordinate our driving schedules!

If you rent a car from the airport, take I-94 east to I-75 northbound. From I-75, take I-696 west to the Woodward exit. Follow the signs for Woodward Avenue North. Take Woodward north to the Holiday Inn. For the Drury Inn, continue north on I-75 to Exit 69 east. Turn right at the end of the off-ramp onto 16-mile/Quarton/Big Beaver).

From Ohio, take I-75 north to I-275 to I-696 east and follow the above directions.

During the weekend
There is shuttle that runs from the Holiday Inn that will take you to Cranbrook and the Community house (but not as far as the other weekend events). You should put in your travel request with the hotel when you check in to make sure that you have the shuttle reserved when you want it on Saturday.

From the Drury Inn and for events that are farther a field from the Holiday Inn, we have a van rented and will be happy to shuttle you to the various events throughout the weekend. But, we need to know your plans so we can create a shuttle schedule!! If there isn't a huge critical mass interested in the van, we may organize carpools instead. Please let us know if you will need a ride for any of the weekend events ASAP so we can get in touch with you with specific details.

REMEMBER that summer is construction season in Michigan, please consult Michigan's traffic website or contact us if you have questions/concerns. Definitely allow yourself extra time if your travel plans involve any of the freeways in the metro Detroit area!
